The Italian Men's National Team managed only two ties over the international break (1-1 vs. Switzerland and 0-0 vs. Northern Ireland.) As a result, Switzerland has qualified for World Cup 2022 in Qatar, and Italy will be forced into a playoff in March 2022 to vie for their spot.
